For the second time ZET foundation will organise a workshop in Ouagadougou
in collaboration with the Centre Culturel Francais in Ouagadougou and the atelier Moussa Kabore.
This time the workshop will be concentrated on female artists from Burkina Faso, Ghana, the Netherlands and Germany who will explore the
possibility of the Lost Wax technique that is frequently used by artists from Burkina Faso. Most of them will have never worked with this
material before and I will be an exiting experience for the artist involved.
The workshop and exhibition will take place from 7 January till 30 of January and will closed by a presentation in the CCF- Georges Melies in Ouagadougou- Burkina Faso. From 27 January till 14 of February.
The participant artist will be Suna Glory Akwele,Sylvie Amousso, Celine Kabore Ouedraogo,Suzanne Ouedraogo, Marie Blance Ouedraogo, Mayri, Anne Verhoijsen, Petra Morenzi , Ruth Linnemann and Alite Thijsen.
The workshop will also be accompanied by a range of lectures.
